Testimonials and references from our borehole clients
St Giles Kennels and Cattery
Taunton.
We were asked to supply a borehole for the replacement of the main supply at this large and busy kennels. The site for drilling was in an open car park, so the owner was particularly concerned about the impact it would have on his customers. It was, therefore, imperative that the job was completed both quickly and safely, with particular attention paid to the safety of the public during drilling and that the site be left clean and tidy at all times.
The customer was paying about £5,500 per year for water at the time of drilling, and as such needed a supply in excess of a normal domestic property, but far below the legal limit of abstraction without a license. The borehole was drilled and lined; pump work for a pressurised system was installed along with a full filtration system. In all, the borehole will have returned the initial investment in installation in just over 1 year.
To whom it may concern,
I cannot praise highly enough the standard of service I have received for Geologic Boreholes & Systems Ltd, highly enough
Their whole approach, from my initial phone call I made after seeing the feature in Mole Valley newsletter until my first drop of “free” water, was completely professional.
In an age where customer service and satisfaction is an often talked about, but seldom delivered commodity, Geologic Boreholes are an example to us all. I was telephoned and kept in the picture at every stage of the operation.
In fact from initial contact, survey, quote, installation date, boring, installation and commissioning, everything was delivered when they said it would and within the time frame.
They were very tidy and were very aware of the fact that we had customers continually on site and caused the minimum of disruption to my business.
The standard of fittings used look to be of a very high quality and I would recommend this company without reservations, to anyone considering a borehole.

Beach House Hotel
Lulworth Cove.
We were contacted by the proprietor owing to his increasing concern with rising water bills. A system was designed and quoted for that had a return on investment inside a year (including all equipment and filtration). The particular problem at the site was access, as the drilling site was in a courtyard behind the hotel, with the only access being through two standard doorways. The drilling rig was taken to the site and stripped down and re-assembled in the courtyard. The drilling was completed in 3 days and once settled the pump and pressurised system was installed. The system delivers water to a storage tank above the hotel and as such no disruption to the hotels plumbing was required. The hotel was open and trading throughout the contract and no disruption was seen by their customers.
Mr I Lower
Taunton
Mr Lower contacted us to undertake the drilling of a simple water borehole in his garden. The water was going to be pumped through a simple and cheap hand pump and was intended for use as a supply of water for the garden. Mr Lower had spoken to a number of companies, all of which were unable to get equipment into the preferred site and as such weren’t interested in quoting (or quoted huge amounts). We were able to drill in the exact location required, with the minimum of disruption or impact on Mr Lower’s garden and finished the drill and casing within a day. The borehole was drilled, lined with well screen conforming to British Standards and a well head installed for just over £1000. Below is an extract of how Mr Lower found our service.
“Where other companies had considered the job fiddly and awkward, and quoted much higher rates accordingly, Geologic were very happy to sink me a garden borehole at a very reasonable rate. The work was done quickly and with very little mess – if it wasn’t for the fact I can now pump water from my own well, you’d hardly know they’ve been there. I would wholeheartedly recommend Geologic to anyone seeking similar work to be completed”.
